Substations of KTPN up to 10 kW E'mi KTPNS, KTPNM, KTPNP, etc.

Complete transformer substations of an outdoor installation (KTPN) are designed for receiving, converting and distributing electrical energy of three-phase alternating current with a frequency of 50 Hz in systems with a dead-earthed transformer neutral on the low voltage side. The highest rated voltage is 6 or 10 kV, the lowest is 0.4 kV. They are mainly used in power supply networks of industrial enterprises, rural and urban settlements, as well as for temporary power supply of construction sites and other facilities.

KTPN by type of execution are divided into:

• Kiosk type in a metal housing - the substation is structurally made in the form of a sheet steel housing without insulation. KTPNT version No. 1 (with a load switch) consists of a power transformer of 6 (10) kV, a load switch of VNA and RU-0.4 kV. The power transformer is connected to the 6(10) kV air inlet through the load switch of the VNA and fuses of the PKT-U3 type. KTPNT version No. 2 (without a load switch) consists of a power transformer of 6 (10) kV and RU-0.4 kV.
• Insulated — the body is made of sandwich panels with basalt fiber filler.
• Container type in a metal block module, container dimensions 20 and 40 f.
• Mast and pole (installation of KTPN equipment on reinforced concrete supports) - are designed for power supply of small-capacity agricultural consumers. The main advantages are simplicity of design, ease of operation, visibility of electrical connections and lower cost compared to other KTPN designs.
• BKTP, in a concrete housing and urban type in a thermocomposite material housing, an analogue of concrete, vandal-proof design.

KTPN are designed to work in conditions characterized by the nominal values of climatic factors according to GOST 15150 of the U1 or UHL1 version (housing made of sandwich panels with basalt fiber filler), placement category 1, while:

• the height of the KTPN installation above sea level is up to 1000 m;
• air temperature limits: lower value: -45 °C — for U1 execution; -60 °C — for UHL1 execution; upper value: +40 °C for U1 and UHL1 execution;
• relative humidity of 80% at a temperature of 20 ° C;
• the environment is non-explosive, does not contain conductive dust, aggressive gases and vapors in concentrations that reduce the parameters of KTPN within unacceptable limits;
• according to the influence of mechanical factors of the external environment, KTPN correspond to the M1 operation group according to GOST 17516.1;
• safety requirements in accordance with GOST 12.2.007.0 and GOST 12.2.007.4.
